Lovely Lavinia Lillium Card

Good day all our Crafty friends. Today I would like to show you a card I made over the Christmas holidays while we were snowed in for 5 days! Yes, we missed Christmas dinner but a very special person did a run to the bakery to get us some amazing goodies! Oh, and we had lots of stuffing! 

For this card I started off with stamping the Say It With Stamps "leafy branches" background stamp with Wow embossing ink and white opaque embossing powder on cream coloured paper. 

Next I stamped the Lavinia "Lilium" image on Neenah 110 lb cardstock, embossed with clear embossing powder and then coloured the flowers with purple/lilac alcohol markers. I die cut the image using the Pinkfresh "Ornate Banner" die, then cut some dark purple glossy cardstock to the same shape. I rounded the corners on both the die cut pieces as well as the card base and stamped background using my We R Memory Keepers corner rounded. I used a sentiment from Lawn Fawn and matted it with the dark purple glossy cardstock. I popped up both the image and sentiment with Scrapbook Adhesives foam dots.
