Celebrating!
Well I have packed away my Christmas stamps and dies for another year. It was time to do something completely opposite of Christmas projects.
For my change of scene I found a Say it with Stamps Daisy Coverplate die that I have never used so I thought that was a perfect place to start. This die is a #9 slimline size (3.5x8.5") and super fun to work with.
I began by cutting the die out of white cardstock being sure to keep all the inner daisies. If you are recreating this card and you are clever, I was not, you could put a THIN double sided tape sheet on the back of your white cards prior to cutting out your panel then you can adhere the panel more easily to your blue cardstock. I did not put tape on the back of my panel so I used my trusty Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive wet glue and that worked OK too. I glued my daisy panel to a piece of sky blue cardstock.
I then added the daisies back into their original spots. Pretty easy to do since all the daisies are the same.
I added centers to all my daisies using Nuvo Gold Luxe Dream drops. The Dream Drops have a gorgeous iridescent sheen to them.
I finished off the card by adding the Photoplay Celebrate Say it with Stamps stamp and die. The tiny sentiment comes from the stamp set. I inked the celebrate die with a bit of PinkFresh Marigold ink and stamped the tiny sentiment on white also with the Marigold ink.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
