Crisp leaves

Hi All.

I thought I would show you a quick and easy fall card perfect for so many occasions. I love this clean and simple look.

I began by grabbing a scrap of heavy white cardstock. It did not have to be big because I am going to cut small leaves out of it.

I rubbed my PinkFresh ink pads in Sunshine, Apricot, Marigold, Clementine, Berrylicious and Stargazer over the white cardstock in a random pattern.

Then I took pinches of Wow Ultra High Copper and Peppermint Scrub embossing powders and sprinkled the powders over my inked panel. I did not try to cover the piece I just wanted to add some bling and texture to the panel. I used my heat tool and heated the panel from UNDERNEITH the cardstock.

I used my Impression Obsession leaves die and cut out 3 of each leaf. I have had this die set since 2014 and I still love it!

I then stamped my Hero Arts sentiment on a 4.75" square of card with PinkFresh Berrylicious ink. I added some extra embossing powder in the upper left corner.

I used wet adhesive to glue a spray of leaves in the lower right corner of my cardstock under the sentiment. I took a small leaf and used foam tape to pop it up and added it near the sentiment. I mounted the leaf square to a 5x5 card with foam tape and voila - done! I made a similar card with the Impression Leaves using Provincal Wow embossing powder (available in Bowen Rd store) as well.

I think this technique/layout would work well with the small Impression Obsession snowflakes as well.
