Tools - Brushes

 Since last week was about inks I thought this week we would look at a couple of different tools for applying your inks.

 We have a great selection of blending tools, blending brushes and paint brushes.

 For simple, basic ink blended backgrounds you can't beat the Mini Ink Blending Tool.  A couple of the tools, a selection of foams and you are off.  Whether you prefer the original flat foam pads or the newer domed foam pads you can have a rainbow, an ombre or a monochromatic background in minutes simply by switching the pads out on the handles.

 We have blending brushes of all descriptions.  All of our blending brushes have soft but dense bristles that hold the ink well and transfer it easily to your cardstock.   The bristled blending brushes are the over all choice for use with stencils.  We have brushess in a variety of sizes from small angled brushes for detail work to larger brushes for quick ink transfer to larger areas.  You can chose between a straight handle or a slightly curved handle, whichever is most comfortable for you to use.  Or you can be a rebel and use a variety!!

 Of course we also have paint brushes and water brushes.  Yes, you can paint with your dye inks and your ink refills!  You can use the paint brushes in the usual way, putting colour on your watercolour paper or you can use them in reverse where you wet your brush and paint the area with water, take a piece of paper towel, dab up the water and remove the ink.  

 There are so many ways to use the different tools we offer.  Come on in and grab something new and give it a try.  Or come on in and replace your older tools that have given you great service but are a bit tired and rediscover the techniques you love but forgot.
