New Inks, New Class & News!

 There are 6, count'em six new colours of VersaFine Clair inks being released and Crafty Capers is taking pre-orders now.  The original release date for these gorgeous new inks was slated for June but it looks like they could be in the store by the end of April!!  If you haven't tried VersaFine Clair inks yet you really should.  They are a beautiful pigment ink that creates the clearest impression of even the most intricate stamp.  This is my go to, I swear by it ink for all my Lavinia stamps.  The colours are vibrant and so easy to work with.  Get on the list today so you don't miss out.

Victoria has a new fun and interactive class using the Reveal Wheel from Lawn Fawn.  You will learn how to assemble the Reveal Wheel mechanism then decorate the cards with adorable designs.  The class is April 24th at 10 am.  Cost is $30.00 and you will be making 3 great cards.  Space is limited so register today, either in the store or online.

 The inaugural Crafty Card Circle is April 14th!!  This is a new class style idea that was suggested by a customer (thanks Brigitte!).   The idea is simple and fun.  You create a card you enjoy making.  You make up 5 kits with all the necessary pieces and you teach this card to the other participants in the group.  You get to spend some time crafting and learning and you go home with 5 cards you can recreate any time.

 The only rule is you must use products you have purchased from Crafty Capers within the last 2 years.   

 There is a $5.00 fee to ensure that participants are serious about creating and teaching a card.  It also gets you in on the door prize draw!

 Crafty Card Circle will start at 9:30 am on April 14th and go to about noon-ish.  Make sure to bring you basic class kit: scissors, adhesives (wet & dry), foam dots, ruler, pencil, etc..  If there is anything else needed I am sure the instructors will let us know ahead of time.

 The Crafty Card Circle should  be up on the online store by the time this blog is published.  Or pop into the store and we can get you registered in person.  Space is limited to 6 participants so don't dilly-dally!

We are collecting Cards for Seniors again this spring.  Bright, cheerful spring-like cards are great for lifting everyone's spirits from the card maker to the recipient.  The cards will be collected and distributed in May so you have a bit of time to get into the craft room and play.  The cards do not need to have any sentiments on the front or on the inside.  They do need to have an envelope.  And please feel free to put your name on the back of your card.  People like to know who made them smile. 

Before I forget!!  Deadline to register for the BetterPress Society and for Spellbinders Oh What Fun is March 28th.  I will go into more detail about these in Mondays blog.  😁
