Monday memos

 First and foremost, my apologies for not having posted in a while.  A few of us have been bitten by some nasty bugs and that puts everything off kilter.

 We are doing the Christmas Cards for Seniors again this year.  I believe we collected around 900 cards last year and I am really hoping we can beat that total this year!  Christmas/ Winter cards with envelopes are being collected here at Crafty Capers 2137C Bowen Rd. until November 25th.  You don't need to sign the cards, but you do need to make sure they have envelopes.  I know many of us have cards from last year that were never used due to the mail strike so this is a perfect way to tidy your craft room and bring a smile to someone at the same time.

 Darcy has a new in person class on Thursday November 13th at 10 am.  The class is called Step & Shake Christmas Cards and you will be making 4 cards that (surprise, surprise!) include stepper cards, shaker cards and a bonus easel card.  You can see the cards in person in the store or you can catch a glimpse of them at craftycapers.com.  The cost for the class is $35.00.  There are only 3 spaces left so if you are thinking about joining the class I would do it quickly or you will miss the boat.  You can register for Darcy's class either in store or through craftycapers.com.
