Monday Memos

I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend.  It was certainly a warm one!  There is lots happening this up coming weekend too.  

Saturday June 14th from 10:15 to 12:15 is Darlene M's Free BetterPress & Glimmer Demo.  You don't need to pre-register.  Pop in when you can and stay as long as you can.  Whether you are here 15 minutes or 2 hours you are sure to learn some great tips and tricks.  If you are still unsure if either of these systems is right for you, this is the perfect way to see them in action and make an informed decision.  

Of course Sunday June 15th is Father's Day.  We have a selection of dies, BetterPress plates and embossing folders to help you create the perfect card.  And we have samples to inspire you!  I almost forgot!  We have the new Tim Holtz Large 3D embossing folders in stock and they would make perfect backgrounds for masculine cards.

Crafty Capers will be closed Tuesday July 1st for Canada Day.  We will be open regular hours Monday June 30th and Wednesday July 2nd.

Sunday July 6th is our Annual Garage Sale.  There are still a few spaces left if you are looking to clear out your stash to make room for the new stuff on your wish list.  Cost is $10.00 plus tax for a space (bring your own table)  All proceeds go to CatNap Rescue Society Nanaimo.  The sale hours are 10 am to 1 pm.  Come on down and find some great deals, in the parking lot and in store.

Tuesday July 8th is the Spellbinders Colour Swatch Party (in store).  Cost is $22.99 plus tax.  Please pre-register.  The party runs from 10 am to 3pm.  It does not take all that time to do your swatches,  we want to give as many folks as possible a chance to join in the fun.   You will be using a store die to cut out the swatches.  Everyone will be supplied with a quarter sheet of each colour from the Colourwheel solids cardstock collection and labelling stickers.  There is a sample of the swatches in store for you to check out.
