Long Weekend Coming Up

 Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!  We hope you will have a fun, relaxed weekend with the people you like spending time with.  Crafty Capers will be closed Monday October 13th in order for all of us to enjoy time with our families. (And let's be honest, so we have time to get over that "stuffed" feeling we get after a great turkey dinner!)

 We will be open regular hours (10 am to 4pm) on Saturday October 11th so you can stop in and get the latest and greatest must have items on your wish list.

 Don't forget to register for World Fussy Cutting Day, October 25th.  This promises to be a fun event for a great cause.  All monies raised will be donated to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.  Even if fussy cutting is not your favourite thing, this could be the chance to try out some new scissors and you might find that the right pair of scissors makes fussy cutting a joy. 😁  The cost for this event is $10.00 and pre-registration is required.

 And right on the heels of Fussy Cutting Day we have Jo Rice doing another Lavinia class for us on November 1st.   This our 8th class with Jo!  This is an on line class so you can join in form anywhere and you can do the class in your pajama's if you wish!  Cost for this class is $12.00 + tax.  As soon as we have the information from Jo we will post pictures and class list.

  Yes, we are collecting Christmas/Winter cards with envelopes again this year.  They will be distributed to seniors in local care homes.  The more we collect the more smiles we can create!  Please drop your cards off at Crafty Capers 2137C Bowen Rd.  Cut off for drop off is November 25th.
