Winter Chickadee Card

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to share a simple card with you today using the Honey Bee "Lovely Layers Winter Birds" die and a few other products which I will list for you. 

I started by cutting out my Chickadee in 3 colors of cardstock, white, black and a medium gray. I coloured the body of the bird with a light gray alcohol marker and then adhered all the pieces together. Honey Bee has instruction sheets to assist with the layering so it makes it pretty easy, which I really like! I then cut out some branches from a Memory Box die that is fairly old but I believe still available. I used the Spellbinders Embossing Folder "Holiday Floral Swag" and cut my panel down to 4"x 5.25", and then cut a window using Spellbinders "Notched Corners Frame" die. I cut a panel of pattern paper from the Echo Park 6x 6 "Winterland" paper pad to 4 x 5.25 and layered the framed piece on top using Spellbinders Pop Up Foam in white. I then added my branches (one med gray and one light gray) inside the frame and popped up my Chickadee on the branches. For the greenery and pinecones I used Hero Arts "Winter Foliage Stamp and Cut set" and added them to the corners of the frame. I then matted everything onto a black piece of paper measuring 4.25' x 5.5'.

I did not use a sentiment yet as I'm not sure who will get this card.
