Stencil Butters are a versatile medium that can do more than the name implies.   Delicious, spreadable Stencil Butter has a shimmer and shine that:

Spreads easily with a palette knife or TCW 6 inch Butter Spreader.

Put them through your stencil as you would normally then add a bit more Stencil Butter to certain areas for added texture.  It has the body of a soft modeling paste that holds its peaks and valleys for texture and interest.   You can also take your palette knife and with quick, gentle taps on the thicker areas of Stencil Butter you can create textures that look like animal fur, sea foam, sand or clouds to name just a few.

You can create your own unique colours by blending the different Stencil Butters together.  Place a small dollop of your main colour on a craft mat or easily cleaned surface, add a bit of your secondary colour and mix together.  You can add more of either colour or add a third or even a fourth colour to get just the right colour for your project.  Be aware you only need to add small amounts of the different colours at a time.  You can also add dry powders such as ColorSparx powders to the butters to create unique colours and tones.

You can finger paint or brush paint with Stencil Butters.  Place a small amount of the Stencil Butter on a craft mat or paint palette.  Take a slightly damp paint brush in the size you need and pick up a bit of the Stencil Butter on the brush.  Paint as you would with any other medium.  You can paint on wood,  watercolour paper, mixed media boards, canvas and other surfaces.

Clean up is very easy.  All you need is water.  Make sure to rinse your tools, stencils etc. immediately after use.

Available in easy to use 2 oz jars.  Dries in 15 to 30 minutes depending on how thickly it was applied.

Stencil Butters are made in Canada.
